Terms & Conditions for Pallet Truck Internet Sales

Terms of Purchase:

When purchasing products from Pallet Truck, you will be agreeing to the following terms of purchase.

Payment:

Purchases will be paid for by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Credit card authorization occurs on order confirmation and charge occurs at order placement.

Sales Tax:

As applicable, state sales tax will be added to your order.

Shipping Policy:

Freight / Delivery FOB Seller’s warehouse or such other location asseller in its sole discretion may from time to time designate. Freight charges will be pre-paid and added to the invoice, using routing of our choice for delivery to locations anywhere in the Contiguous United States.

Shipping Time:

Orders normally ship within 24 hours and will arrive within three to five days by common carrier.

Warranty:

Seller warrants its product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one ( 1 ) years from date of shipment by Seller. Warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, or misapplication. Ordinary wear and tear shall not be considered a defect in workmanship or materials. If within period any such product is proved to Seller’s satisfaction to be defective, such product shall be repaired or replaced at Seller’s option. Seller’s obligation is limited to such repair and replacement and conditioned upon Seller’s receiving written notice of any alleged defect within the warranty period and no more than 10 days after its discovery and, at Seller’s option, return of such products or parts to Seller’s warehouse 600 Morse Avenue Elk Grove Village, IL. 60007

Pump Replacements:

Any hydraulic pump that fails within its specified warranty period can be returned for a factory-refurbished replacement. Defective pumps must be returned freight prepaid to the attention of the Pump Replacement Program, with a valid serial number and return address. A replacement pump will then be shipped out prepaid. Please Note any applicable labor charges are not included.

Batteries, Battery Chargers & Scale Components:

Are covered under the original manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty service and claims should be directed to the local representative of the manufacturer in your area. In no event will warranty be considered for these parts.

Jungheinrich MIC Corporation Products:

Warrants to the original purchaser its manual & electric pallet trucks and roller skids, to be free from factory material and workmanship defects. All warranties begin on the date of delivery to the first user (also known as an "end user") or ninety (90) days after shipment, whichever comes first. Warranty coverage is limited to the first user and is nontransferable. To initiate the warranty period, a completed Installation Report must be received within 15 business days after delivery to the first user. Under no circumstances will warranty be considered for units that have not been registered through the Installation Report Program.

Jungheinrich Warranty Plus Coverage:

This program covers 100% of all warrantable service costs during a unit’s warranty period. In the event of unit failure, contact the Jungheinrich Service Dept. directly at 800-229-7400 Jungheinrich will contact one of our factory authorized service agents to inspect the unit. Return Policy:

All returns require a Return Authorization from Pallet Truck. Please call Pallet Truck customer service for a Return Authorization and shipping instructions. No returns will be authorized after 10 days past the invoice date. Returns within the 10 day limit will be assessed a 15 percent restocking fee. Returns are for replacement credit only. Returns should be in good condition and in their original condition to earn credit. Returns will be at the original purchase price less any restocking fee when all instructions are followed.

Claims:

We do everything we can to protect our product, but in the event a product does get damaged in transit. On prepaid freight damage units must be refused at time of delivery. Once accepted & received, claims & repairs costs become the sole responsibility of the consignee and will not be considered under the warranty program. On collect freight, title shall pass to purchaser at that time. All risk of loss or damage in transit shall be borne by purchaser. The purchaser is advised to follow this established procedure. If the product is damaged in transit note the damage on the delivery bill of landing, obtain and inspection report from the truck line immediately. All repairs costs become the sole responsibility of the freight carrier.

Cancellation:

No order accepted by Pallet Truck may be modified, cancelled or terminated without Seller’s prior written consent.
